Craig Garland

President

Craig holds ultimate responsibility for Garland’s strategic, operational, and financial initiatives.
With over two decades in the construction industry, Craig is an energetic and knowledgeable resource who understands the intricacies to serve the fast-paced nature of commercial construction. Craig received his Bachelors in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology , as well as an MBA from Suffolk Sawyer School of Management.

 

Under Craig’s direction, Garland Building Company supports many nonprofit organizations and charitable events. It’s a way to connect with colleagues, a way to have fun…and a way to give back to the community where we live and work. Our ongoing relationships include Big Brothers | Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, The Muscular Dystrophy Association, Heading Home, Rosie’s Place` and The Jimmy Fund among others.

Mike Meade

VP of Operations

Mike oversees the day-to-day operations of all Garland Projects with emphasis on driving schedule, quality and client satisfaction. He occasionally serves as a Project Executive for key clients. Mike is also involved in the development and implementation of Garland’s Safety Program, leadership, mentoring and development initiatives for all Project Managers and Field Operations staff. Mike holds a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

 

Mike has over 20 years experience in the construction field and has been an integral part of the Garland organization since its inception. After having completed several Co-op roles while enrolled at Wentowrth, he began his career as a full-time Assistant Project Manager after graduation. Moving steadily into higher-level positions, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise which makes him a valuable asset to the Garland team.

Christina Guarnotta

Permitting Manager

Christina manages the project administration and submission of paperwork necessary to obtain all regulatory approvals from the city ad state agencies for construction permits and occupancy requirements. She works alongside our estimating and project management staff to provide up to date information to relay to owners and clients.

 

She has over 25 years in the trade and has established invaluable relationships while also keeping up to date on any changing requirements within the industry. Christina holds an AS from Hickox School of Management and has been in the construction industry since 1992.

Dan O’Neill

General Superintendent

Dan Leads Garland’s field operations. His expertise, attitude and general responsive nature sets the tone on Garland jobsites for safety, harmony and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

 

He works directly with building owners, management companies and clients to ensure that all expectations and schedule are met. Dan has been a member of the Garland team since it’s inception and has over 30 years of experience overseeing construction projects and personnel.
