B/Spoke Studios

B/Spoke Cycling Studios, located in the first floor retail area of 101 Federal Street, is a 2,500 SF cycling club. The former bank branch location was transformed into a modern biking fitness center with a 700 SF studio, full shower and changing facilities, and waiting areas.

Multiple classes fill the studio each day which required extensive sound attenuation protection and precise cooling and temperature sensors to keep the bikers comfortable. Because the space was at a premium for this project all the mechanical and plumbing systems were installed on the mezzanine above the studio.
